Sarah Jo Zaharako is a community engagement librarian dedicated to making sure all people can participate fully in library culture and beyond. She believes in librarianship with heart, and strives to elevate the work of the community through collaboration and partnership.

Sarah Jo thrives on collaboration and good communication. Before she was librarian, she was a professional violinist and music teacher, a profession not unlike librarianship. 

When she's not at the library or out in the community, she's working in her garden.
